At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister talked about the macroeconomic indicators of last year and noted that the overall 2017 year had been successfully completed with high parameters.
"The economic growth indicators were higher than it was planned in terms of the GDP growth, as well as international trade; export index has improved significantly and sovereign balance has upgraded. According to the results of the Open Budget Survey 2017, Georgia ranked 5th in the world out of more than 100 countries and I think this is really a congratulatory fact", - the Prime Minister said.
The Head of the government also presented the new Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze to the business representatives, emphasizing his experience in business relations, and urged the business representatives to communicate with him as sincerely and openly as possible.
The meeting with business associations is being held in the closed format at Biltmore Hotel.
